Figure Session - Temporary Rink @ Acacia Ridge

at the end of the first week.
Information:
Restricted session:
Sessions that are restricted are for skaters that are Pre-Primary Level and above
Skaters NOT in a lesson:
Skaters having a lesson within a session may skate the entire session
Skaters training and not having a lesson within a session – note that there will be a maximum of 10 skaters not in lessons able to train in a session.
There will be a booking process – so that you are able to book to train in a session. The rink office will have the booking sheets from tomorrow (Wednesday).
You will be able to book up to a week in advance.
This process will be reviewed at the end of the first week
NB** If you are having a lesson you DO NOT need to book
General:
There will be NO groups on the “temporary rink”, however shared lessons of a maximum of 3 skaters will be permitted
Parking: There will ONLY be ½ the spaces in the back car park available.
Skate Bags – where possible, please DO NOT bring skate bags into the marquee. There is only a very small seating area in the temporary rink/VERY limited space.
Ice Etiquette: Please ensure you give-way to skaters in lessons. Figure Sessions are for TRAINING! The small surface will be a challenge for all skaters.
NB** Each time listed indicates that the skater needs to swipe and are also the sessions that can be booked for skaters training only and not in lesson/s.

2011 Annual General Meeting - Iceworld Figure Skating Club Inc
Notice is given that the Iceworld Figure Skating Club Inc. will hold its Annual General Meeting for all financial members, on Saturday, February 18th.
Due to the closure of the Acacia Ridge rink, the time and venue for the AGM is to be confirmed and announced in the coming weeks.
In accordance with the Club Rules, the following Management Committee positions are open for election.
President - 2 year term
Treasurer - 2 year term
2 x General Committee Members - 2 year term
In addition, the Management Committee has decided to expand the number of General Committee Members on the Management Committee and therefore another 2 General Committee positions are open for election.
1 x General Committee Member - 2 year term
1 x General Committee Member - 1 year term
Nominations must be completed using the nomination forms.
All completed forms should be handed to the Club Secretary or placed in the club mail box prior to the closing date.
Nominations close on Friday, February 3 at 6pm.
