About Us
 
The Iceworld Figure Skating Club continually strives to grow and improve the State standard of skating achievement by:
 
Managing IFSC activities with the interests and development of skaters as paramount, in a safe and supportive environment.
 
Providing qualified and professional coaching staff and making available various training aids and courses.
 
Securing key sponsorship/grants and generating sufficient financial resources to support ongoing development programs.
 
Our home rink is located in the southern suburbs of Brisbane at Iceworld Olympic Ice Rink, Acacia Ridge.
 
Members of IFSC range from Aussie Skate (beginner) levels through  to Senior levels in figure skating and ice dance and includes all age groups.
 
Many of our skaters have reached levels qualifying them to represent Queensland and Australia in National and International competitions. Some skaters have also been chosen to participate in performances such as The Andrei Rieu Concert Tour in Australia.
 
The club conducts a variety of skating development programs to continually stimulate and improve the skills and interests of our skaters.  The club runs a variety of events, fundraising and competitions throughout the year.
